Default MD Mondeo Trend Ecoboost (2015 or 2016) - Problems?

I'm looking at getting an ex-lease MD Mondeo Trend Ecoboost as company car. Work normally get Mazda6 or Camry. I would like Mondeo...
Company work gets their cars through (ex-lease) have told work the Mondeo has heaps of problems and they wouldn't touch them! I am aware of teh MC transmission servicing requirement of 60,000kms to avoid trans problems.
Any other valid reasons I should not push for a MD Mondeo?
Thanks in advance

I've owned my 2015 Trend Ecoboost for almost three years and have covered just over 30000 km.

The only fault I've encountered is a leak from the windscreen washer bottle which was caused by the seal around the pump. The pump was replaced under warranty.

The transmission in the MD Ecoboost is a standard slush box automatic which does not require servicing until 160000 Km or 10 years under normal operating conditions.

I would buy another Mondeo without hesitation.

MD Mondeo Trend Ecoboost
slushbox auto so no problems there

can't see any other common failure points besides recalls that have reared their head.

'ex-lease' company need to lift their game and look more closely at the current model, not previous models that may or may not have had an issue.

Great stuff, thank you... I was hoping (and suspicious) their opinion may be a bit self serving but wanted to check first! Funny they didn't have any Mondeo's on their yard but had stock of Mazda and Toyota's to clear :-)
I know every brand of car manufacturer has "niggles"...
Cheers
