ecu, intirior= front seats only rear were the same, steering wheel, fuel pressure regulator, boot garnish, suspension; lowered springs, longer top diff arms

the Options tag has "X" under "engine", and the red tickford cast rocker cover

exhaust was a twin setup, eb falcon s rims but polished finish, red mouldings, abs, black intirior clock, ribbed metal brake booster

in some cases there are the other ones from ford that didn't i know that there where two kinds of xr8's one was the the xr8 sprint from ford that didn,t have the twin lights and then there was the improved xr8 tickford which did, now im not sertain if the 6's where the same.

Injectors were standard Falcon items, and so was the transmissions. Whatever paint was available on an Spac, it was also available on the XR6.

everything you mentioned there is incorrect.

they started the bigger exhaust valves on EF XR heads. (2mm bigger)

gearboxs were exactly the same as every other manual/auto falcon 6 in the line up and injectors were the same as well.

All this was from the FPV website, so standard falcons had T5OD manuals? and The xr6 autos were unmodified? The Injectors were standard gli items? and the ports were no bigger than standard yet the compression was higher?

Can someone show some proof
Cheers

All EBII-ED 6cyl manual gearboxes were the same. EA-EBI had different ratios as can be seen above. XR6 ecu was different, which also included transmission calibrations, which changed the shift points. Mechanically the autos were the same.

As for heads, they got slightly stiffer valve springs, different cam, and the head slightly skimmed to increase compression ratio (which reduced combustion chamber volume)
Valves were the same across the range (3.9 and 4L) Intake was 47mm and exhaust 39mm.

If you want proof in regards to the injectors, just compare the part numbers to a standard Falcon.

i did a bit of research when buying bigger swaybars, and i spoke to someone at whiteline and they said all eb and ed, pov packs to fairmonts and xr's have the same size swaybar front and rear. 27mm front, and 22 rear. i measured mine when i took them off, and they were the same as Rollins from his XR6

As for rollbars, im pretty sure XRs only got polyurethane bushes, which is equivalent to a rollbar of 2mm larger.

The top arms on the diff aren't longer, they have a 'scallop' (for want of a better word) in the underneath of them, which combined with bolt holes that were about 20mm lower on the diff mounts allowed the top arms to sit closer to the diff than the normal ones. I don't exactly know what the benifit of this is, apparently it was to lower the rear roll center.

According to a scan of a wheels magazine I have, Tickford achieved "healthy power and torque gains with revised porting (of the head) for improved gas flow, boosting the compression ratio to 9:1" along with different cam timing, springs, spark plugs and fuel pressure.

The ECU is recalibrated to match the changes and auto models get slightly crisper shifts.

They got 0-100 in 7.81 and 0-400m in 15.64@145.9km/h (I think was testing with two people on board, they used to do it, not sure if they still do) top speed of 223.8km/h.

Front springs are 54% stiffer than GLi (but only 12% stiffer than 'S') rears 15% stiffer, front swaybar is 16% stiffer but no change to rear bar.
