hey all ,
i got given a festiva a little while ago and have been tricking and repairing it as a daily hack , the first gear box the one out of the car has smashed star gears in the diff , the second one i just bought today $250 , has the same issue but to a lesser extent , , still does any one know a fix ? or a easy way of getting the part to fix it i.e from a festiva auto box , or other /. snowball , the white festiva |

There were a couple of different boxes available so if you can ID the one you have then we can probably come up with some suggestions.

hey all ,
thank you for the quick responce , the gear box is from a 1.3 ltr wb festiva 1996 model , it was so bad it sounded like stuffed cv`s , but new gear box has only about 9-10 teeth missing from the star gears , still a basket case , and new gears are around $150 each and theres 4 , snow ball , |

Just get a reco box with 3 month warranty fitted. Shouldn't cost much more to fit??
