got a quote today to colour code my cl focus getting the door handles done, the back strip on the bumber done and also the black strip above the number plate done all up only $220 which i think is awesome. Ford quoted me just over $400 for just the door handles to get done after many of arguements (we discussed it being included in the price yet they conveniently left it of the contract which i didnt notice until a few weeks later) just shows how much of a rip off they actually are

Hey, funny you should mention that, only a couple days ago i had my car colour coded. the visual difference it makes is unbelievable.
http://www.fordforums.com.au/showthread.php?t=26596 i only have a camera phone and it takes very low quality photos, but you get the idea. I say go for it, get the strips down your doors done too, and the strips on the side of the front bumper too !

yeh i already got the side strips done, the door handles were supposed to get done aswell but had many an arguement with ford so didnt get it done, but it will be interesting to see how it turns out because even the zetecs have the black strip at the back, and im getting that colour coded, i wanted the strip above the number plate chromed but the panel beater couldnt do that so i settled for just colour coding. because he is cheap and looks like he does a descent job it is about a 3 week wait just to get it in but it will be worth it.

colour coding is great, have been thinking about getting my LR strips done too as I am sick of getting wax on them when I get stuck into my car and its a pita to get the wax off those teflon strips.
