Default Mk1 Cortina Radio

Looking for an original radio to suit Mk1 Cortina. Working or not. Pm me with what you have. Cheers.

For your reference every state had a unique faceplate with the local stations added. Good luck with the search.

Ok cheers for that info, found a period radio for now but someone has really hacked the opening for a CD, would like to get it sorted and welded before paint but at the moment looks like my hen has more chance of growing teeth than finding one, haha

Nostalgic wireless in Melbourne did have one including the speaker grille. Not cheap - $600, but as you know they are rare. And yes they do have individual face plates for each state. I was lucky with my car as it came with the radio, faceplates and original owners book for the radio.
