My au sed. needs new gas struts on the boot. Is there a stronger gas strut for the lid with the wing on it rather than the lighter one without?

actually i did`nt take much notice with my old struts but i have a feeling they sort of had valving to give a slow down effect towards fully opened position, either that or its because they where getting tired, the aftermarket ones i have, if i let go of the boot lid while its goin up............ i suspect my lid will be ejected 100 yards up the road lol, i think the factory items might be a good thing(once bitten).

Are those the heavy duty ones that can carry the extra weight of the rear wing?
