Hopefully someone here can help me out...I have a blackberry phone, got it about 2 months ago, my other half has a nokia n95, he has tried sending photos to me via multimedia and it wont work...he is with vodafone i am with 3...went to 3/vodafone and they said it was because the blackberry has a very high security on it that it has to be another blackberry to accept aphoto from it.......i dont believe that..is it true???? can i get around this...thanks

are the pictures MMS or via bluetooth?
I have a blackberry and I recieve MMS fine havent tried bluetooth yet though. only problem I have is I refuse to pay extra for a blackberry account so some features on my phone are sitting there wasting away

I know iphones can only accept bluetooth from another iphone. If it`s via mms it shouldn`t matter or get him to send the pic as an email.

I got my new blackberry 2 months ago and have been having mms problems until a few days ago.
They tried a dozen different things but eventually someone figured out that there was a problem when my number was moved from optus to vodaphone/crazyjohns and some of the technical information didn't send properly. Did you move from a different carrier and keep an old number? If so ring your service provider and ask them if your number and details were ported correctly. Once they figured out what was wrong it was fixed that day. |
