Default Cobra and XRchic's Housewarming Party on Saturday 24th September!! EVERYONE INVITED!

Hi everyone

Well we have finally moved into our new place. We have unpacked and are all settled in and are officially NO LONGER RENTING!!! We unpacked our last box yesterday and have cleaned up.

Anyway, we have been talking about a housewarming party for ages, so that some of you from interstate can come along. We have planned it for the end of September around the Ford closure week so that some of you who wanted to come, can have the time off etc.

Here is the deal...

Date:
Saturday 1st OCOTBER (any time) - probably be a weekend party!

Place:

XRchic Cobra Party House (tm)
5 Mitton Court
Mount Barker SA

(Directions below)

Bring:
- Own fold up chair(s) - we have a few but might not have enough
- Bit of BBQ meat but we will provide snags, chops, bread, munchies etc if that will suffice.
- Grog

Basically it will be a BBQ and grog fest. Anything goes really.

Everyone is welcome as long as they let us know they are coming.

Anyone who comes from interstate is welcome to come over on the Friday night and crash at our place for as long as they like as long as they are prepared to crash on the couch or in a swag somewhere! If a few people are coming from Vic, they could drive over together!

We have a nice new BBQ and a fair bit of undercover area out the back (so we wont get rained on) and a large backyard.

Anyway, if you would like to come, could you please let us know on this thread or by PM or by mobile phone sometime before the party? Maybe RSVP the week before. And if you are coming from interstate, could you let us know if you want to stay over.

Directions:

If you are coming from Vic/interstate, Mt Barker is just off the freeway from Melbourne. You will go through Tailem Bend, then Murray Bridge (where the freeway starts) and not long after that is the Callington exit. I think the Mt Barker exit is the next one or two after that - about 50km towards Adelaide from Murray Bridge. You wont need to go through the city, or suburbs, which is good.

Come off the exit, and head over the bridge towards the town centre (the only way to go). Drive through Mt Barker and at the second roundabout (maybe 2km from the exit), turn a sharp left down Alexandrina Road.

Continue down this road and it will change into Bald Hills Road just on the bend to the left. Go around the bend and you will see Mt Barker Golf Course on your right. On your left will be the entrance to our estate (Mountain Glen Estate) - I think it is called Green Ave.

Turn into Green Ave and then take the very first sharp left into Mitton Court which is our street. There are lots of display houses and the street winds around, but ours is next to the Sterling display house.

If you get lost, you can give us a ring on 0417 869 118.

Here is a pic of the house with our cars out the front! Hope to see you there!

Jac and Eamon!!!!

That house is a sh!t load nicer than the one you were renting (which looked pretty good to)
No idea what I'm doing tomorrow let alone september but it would be a great night.
Hopefully I'll make it & hopefully there's some street lights around this place...

Okay...

I'm not sure what you're trying to tell me here, but I'll just nod and smile and back away slowly.

Should have done that about a week ago. Could have saved me a lot of suffering.

Sorry to hijack your thread. I won't be able to make it to your housewarming, but good luck to you both.
