Hi All,
Went to move my wifes AU today and when i started it , sounded odd.. I checked underneath and from the rear muffler the pipe (from rear of muffler ) has broken of and is hanging... Where is a good place to buy a exhaust for a AU 6 cyl ... Rear muller and back .. Thanks in advance

I can do myselfno probs..Im just not sure what i need..I know the centre (i think its centre) muffler needs to be changed and then the tailpipe (does this have another smaller mufler on it) ???
Is there any diagrams that i can use to get an idea what parts i need ? thanks for your help day-mow

Sounds like it needs from the Cat Back you can pick them up new at most Exhaust shops fairly cheap straight bolt up . Or just do a search on Flea bay

im not saying this is the case. but when i've seen exhausts rear piece's part its rusted where to 2 sections meet so you need both piece's.
the ebay listing supplies everything required except some exhaust silastic get stuff that has copper in it. for memory its a golden/orange color tube. it would depend on what you would like the car to sound like if you only have a centre muffler and no rear resinater/muffler the exhaust will be quite loud. and may cause your wife to be unhappy ( Dad got a replacement exhaust on the family car once and it was a bit vocal and mother really didn't like it) if thats the case send the Ebay store a message and ask if they can do a rear section that has a muffler or resinator in it to keep volume down.
