So as the title suggest, who has been out this morning and where are all the pics?

Gaz, might of been able to hook you up with one of those garage crawlers and could of towed you out there!

Didnt get any pics but a great turnout, no sign of rain and people did a great job of displaying the cars as usual

The drift F6 thing was getting a lot of interest

As much as I prefer the old school stuff myself, it is the FPV day so it's to be expected that there is more late model stuff.

I had a great, if early start. The company was good, great to catch up with the regulars and meet some new guys ( we are yet to be sold on drifting as an AFF event but keep on working on us ).. the cars were good.. the weather was overcast but I still managed to get burnt .. yipee.
Highlight.. Melz wondering why people wanted to see her 'standard old falcon' which probably got the most looks, comments and visitors of the day ( for our stand ).
I didn't take many pics but I'll post them up soon.

Huge day, best so far...
(um, sorry Gary, it sucked, honest).

To be truthful it really was a AU/BA/BF dominated show which weakened it a bit. Not as much oldschool muscle this year although the Geelong boys kept the fine tradition of lots of X series beasties.. good on the LSUG, they were a welcome sight.

Too many people to mention but it was fantastic to catch up with them all again and meet new people along the way. From the moment I got out of the car there were people I know there ready for a chat and a laugh. That continued all day with that many people there that sometimes I just didnt get time to spend long enough chatting. I cant wait for Raid now, if this is the sort of days we can expect its going to me stunning.

I was 'old school' and I was there!!
Yes XA Coupe, i still wonder why people wanted to see my car... actually no i don't, i think i had the most people look at my car on our section the whole day... i'm soooo proud of my baby now. I was amazed at how many people could appreciate an 'old stock standard' XB, especially when the focus tends to be on the newer cars these days.
Today has given me more encouragement to keep going with restoring my XB.

It was another great day, big thanx to Jeff & Nicole for all of their support, they are the main reason to why i brought the XB out today. Also big thanks to everyone who gave me advice and encouragement. Not many people realise this is actually my first project car and that it is still being restored (not everything can get restored over night)

Already looking forward to the next event
