Default Anyone having problems with their HTC Mobile?

Went to bed Saturday night, phone all good. Wake up Sunday, no audio in or out for calls.

Telstra say HTC did an update to phones and they crashed, Trying to repair the software, or write a patch.

Anyone else, and is it limited to Telstra?

you might have to reload the original software , then later do the updated update.

That's what I try and tell anyone who will listen.

NEVER allow things to auto update or auto sync every x hours, days etc. Phone apps, laptops etc.

This is how a lot of roaming horror stories start..

Set everything so that you need to accept the download before it starts.

May need to do a factory data reset.Always fixes issues with my phone.Cant comment on HTC specific problems as I have only had Motorola phones which i have found to be pretty bullet proof.

Telstra...."well there's yer problem" !

I agree with previous posts. Never allow auto updates. In fact I don't do them ever. I let it happen once & everything moved.
I'd just figured out how to use my new smart phone & suddenly had to learn all over again!
