Default Clutch Pedal

Hey guys.
The black plastic cover thing on the clutch pedal came off today...
I've literally spent like 2 hours trying to fit it back on to no avail, just wondering if theres a trick to it, or whether it's just broken.
It looks as though it should just pop back on.
Cheers

Ahh yes mine came off twice the second time while driving past a Ford dealer who kindly put it back on with some glue.

They shouldn't have glued it on. Because once it wears down they're gonna have a hell of a time taking it off to replace.
They're not that hard to put back on. If you look at the back of the rubber pad, There's a narrow end and a thicker end. There is a lip around the entire pad which clips in over the pedal. The way I did it was the slide the narrow end over the pedal first, then get your fingers behind there and try to flick out the edging on the pad so that it wraps around the pedal. Might take you a while. But don't glue it on!!!

I have the alloy pads which come off when your shoe snaggs on the edge - because of no footrest.

The standard rubber ones might behave differently?

Anyhow after the glue it hasn't come off again
