Default AU Engine in an NA Fairlane

Hey all,

Has anyone put an AU Engine into a NA Fairlane before?

Thinking about doing it, and if anyone has done it how hard would it be?

Default Re: AU Engine in an NA Fairlane

i put a au engine in the ed fairmont, use ea-ed engine mounts either use single belt, use ef/el ac pump bolt it to ea-ed aircon bracket, space out aircon to use a ef/el tensioner or use xh tensioner and just bolt ef ac pump to ea-ed a c bracket.

use a distributor and coil take out shaft covering the distributor on the au engine and put in a distributor as aus used coil packs and eas to eds have distributor and single coils

the ridges on the front angle part of the sump need to be cleaned up a bit with a angle grinder so engine can fit

or try and make the multibelt fit but just use the single belt

hope it helps
