Cool HELP - Outfit suggestions for 80's party...

I need suggestions for an outfit to wear to my wife's 30th Birthday. It's a 70's/80's party and everyone has to come dressed (tragically) from that era.

I was thinking along the lines of Flashdance, Blues Brother's or going right out on a limb and wear something inspired by New Kids on the Block etc etc.

Any ideas??

Hmmmm, Friday night at your place sounds like the place to be! Cher could be the go, I might put on a bit of fish net under a skivvy and rev things up after 12!

I'm pretty sure Parachute pants were early 90s. I should know, because I had a pretty extensive collection :

Go a combo of stuff - hyper colour teeshirt, basket ball boots, stone wash jeans, stonewash denim jacket, mullet wig.

if you are into gender bending, something inspiring flashdance with the leg warmers.

Or what someone's grandmother knitted...
