Default Rude Buggers at Servos

Today the gf had a bit of a rough situation while going abou her business at a servo, and Im actually posting it in case the person at fault is on this forum.

One thing I hate is rude people at servos who don't get out of the way if there's a line etc. If you've finished getting your fuel, there's no reason other than laziness or rudeness for moving your car out of the way so the rest of us can get fuel, and generally keep things moving instead of holding everybody up.

Today the gf was waiting to fill up her car, behind a guy in a Merc. Silver BA XR6 N/A. These things are common as round here, but that's not the point. The owner apparently pumped his fuel, which is fine, then popped the hood. Fair enough, he might have had to check something. But what annoys me is after he did this, he went back into the servo and came out with a whole lot of food and drinks, and passed them to his wife in the car. By now it'd been a good 10 mins or so, and he started checking the oil. Gf is waiting patiently in her car, but obviously getting a bit annoyed by now,and the guy sees her, and say "what the ИИИИИИ are you looking at b***h?" to her.

Now i should point out that had i have been there this guy would have had a closeup inspection of his muffler headfirst if i had heard him say that, but its gets even better. He gets in his car, floors it out of the servo almost hitting somebody walking in, and his wife gives mrs b2tf the finger on the way out.

Now I should add that i wasnt actually there to see all of it happen, but there's no reason to doubt what she told me.

What ИИИИes me off about this situation is that mrs b2tf was not in the wrong - this guy was a rude a$$hole who decided to take his life out on somebody else.

I always try to move as soon as i can once ive got my fuel, just so people arent waiting behind me, and i dont see why anybody else shouldnt do the same its just being polite!

Anyway, rant over, but if the driver of the aforementioned BA XR6 is on these forums, pull your stupid head in.

That is just wrong. SO VERY wrong. I would have told him to move as soon as he starts to check his oil if theres a line.

Sorry to hear about that b2tf, hope Mrs b2tf is ok, there can be some ****ers out there. At the end of the day, it's important to get over these things quickly (ala your rant, and then close it and try to forget it).

Life's to short to waste on arogant pricks who have nothing better to do than take their frustration at life out on everyone else. They're self centred and selfish, they'll never "pull their head in" becuase in their mind, the world revolves around them.

Anyway, hope the rest of the week picks up and who knows, Karma might come around one day and when you're Mrs is filling up her car, she might have an impatient XR6 driver behind her who might just have to wait while she does the weekly shopping inside ;)

I agree, i was in my mates VS calais when a similar situation happened. after he filled up and paid, he noticed that his glovebox door kept on falling off, so he decides to try and fix it on the spot, we tell him to do it somewhere else but no he doesnt! he loves this car and he think ИИИ its a calais that it HAS to be in top nick! Anyways, after a few minutes someone tells us if we can do what we're doin somewhere else ИИИ there's people waiting. All i can say is well done to that old man. Even tho my mate is a close friend, what he was doin was bloody stupid.... he can be stupid at times and that was one of those times. Does it get any more stupid? well yeh... when the old man walks back my mate JUST had to make a smart *** remark to the guy, but i doubt he heard... when he gets to the air/water we just told him off badly... its a freakin 10yo car, he should stop making it sound like its EVERYTHING.
In the end, yes, there are people out there who can be idiots, but from what you said about that guy, he's probably just an arrogant ***** who thinks since he owns a merc, he's above everyone else. Just thinking right now how the situation wouldve been like with u there lol

I guess this is about all we can expect from our fellow "humans" these days. We are having problems out here with car jackers. I have told my wife never to drive with the doors un locked and never stop for anyone. And if you do happen to run someone down, dont stop, drive straight to the police station and evryone in the car go inside and report it. I feel sorry for your girl freind. None of us deserve to have to put up with this kind of situation.

Well said, pity there are so many people around like that, the world would be so much better without them all...

Thats a bloody disgrace, whats wrong with some people... I can understand some petrol stations are small and dont offer parker after you have filled up, but seriously 10 minutes stuffing around, and then to abuse your girlfriend.

Its typical of todays world tho, theres always bound to be an asslicker somewhere! My pet hate is pricks that go thru the fast line at Coles or Woolworth with more then 12 items, I am always running into to get 2 or 3 things and im sick of these arrogant ИИИИs that think they are above the rest of us, personally I dont think they should be served but it doesnt seem to be an issue with the staff.

What a pig.

Just a bit off topic, but can you go to a servo, fill up, and move your car out the way so someone else can fill up, and then pay for your fuel?

I generally fill up and just walk in and pay, come back out. Definately dont just sit there though checking stuff, thats what your driveway is for.

I do move the car also depending on how busy the place is and if there are any parks nearby.

Yes, you can do this X-rated.

Hahahaha.
That read was classic.
Made even funnier by the fact I work in a servo and see all this happen.

Up here i caan, mainly cos the parking area is only about 20m away from the pumps, so its just a case of driving forward. Ive never had a problem come out of doing it.

He's just getting it off his chest mate.
Usually what'll happen here is the next guy will pull up and act all ИИИИed off before they have a chance to clear the pump.
Lots of impatient jerks when you're TRYING to do them a favour. yet the same that act like the guy you posted about.

I feel bad enough filling up the F250 every second day. 100-130 litres. The guy next to me can finish, pay up and leave. next car shows, fills up, gone. And a THIRD is starting to fill up before I'm done!

In winter it gets COLD filling this truck up!!!

All we can do is do OUR best I guess. Maybe the jerks out there will eventually kill each other off....or something....

Servo food makes some people fat headed, pity mrsb2tf didn't remind him of this.
My women would've been out and up in his face, given him what he deserved. She takes crap from no one. "Killa Kezza" i call her at times. The youngest of 6 kids with 4 big brothers, did i mention they are "big" mofos, she can look after herself quite nicely : .
Find these types all over, not just at servos.

If you're going to move your car, just put it forward to the next pump to allow the next guy in. If you're moving it out of sight from the console operator give him a wave or something, you have no idea how much stress it causes to see someone fill up then get in and start the car...
On topic again... I'm sure you have no reason to doubt your girlfriend. But there is always two sides to a story.
A few weeks back I filled up my car, went and paid. Had a quick chat to the owner of the store about his DA. Before I was done an older gent in a merc came in and demanded I move my car, I told him one sec, just say cya to the owner. That wasn't good enough for him.. He yelled out me in the middle of the store to get out and move my car... I said bye the the owner and then went out and moved it... however, there are the ones (who rightly so) take that opportunity to go out and check the oil, ИИИИ the impatient ИИИИs.

If you had been present im guessing there would have been a colourful answer to this guy's rhetorical question. I mean, what did he expect mrs b2f to say?

"Im looking at the stupid ***** wasting time at the servo".

Ive been in this situation SO many times its no longer amusing. They fill up whilst you wait. They go inside, maybe use the ATM... have a read of the magazines, get some food, pay, come out, pop the hood, poke around, get the squeegy, clean the windscreen....

Ive learnt to never be in a rush. If you're in a rush, people will go out of their way to delay you. Sit back, kill the engine, put the TV on if you have one...

They'll get theirs one day!

Speaking of annoying people at the servo - I hate it when there is only two other cars at the servo and they both are pumping petrol either side of the gas pump... the only 1 that I have to choose from meanwhile they get 4-8 or more.

And yes it does happen - happened last week thurs /fri

or when some ИИИИer uses the unleaded the opposite side of the diesel when they could have gone the other side so someone else can get in when theres only one diesel pump, and your waiting 20 minutes for the dick to finish.

i had a mishap very much the same on the weekend
coming home on sunday from melb to geelong
i was sitting behind a guy in a vs commy that was taking his time
then there was the guy that was behind me in a very early skyline or very simular
he started to go on about how long he was waiting to get his fuel
the mrs was already on his way to pay for the fuel that was just put in the el the whole 25 dollars worth
this is where it got fun
when he started to have a go at me ( we were only there for less than 5 mins )_
he got out of his car and tried to go me
now you can ask most people that know me it takes a ИИИИ load to get me fired up he was about to throw his club lock through the back window of my car
that is where i snapped i had my 2 kids asleep in the back
so i jumped and put him on his *** before he had a chance
now im looking at a visit from the boys in blue
as i have been told from the people at the servo that i shouldnt worry as they had it in vid but im a bit worried but that dont matter
i was the inocent one here
or should i say the kids could have been the inocent victims here

i dont agree with the way this guy and acted in any way
and if it happened to my wife i would be hunting the moron down
