Hi all,
I'm a long time forum user, new to this site, and will change my details soon. I just wanted to get this message out to everyone for a bit of help: Had a great day at Sandown today... Go FORD. Got back to the car park and my wheels were gone. MISSING: 1 AU Fairmont Wagon, Grey, new tyres (spewing) and A FULL TANK OF PETROL..... Reg:RWV136. Nothing special about the car and now that it's gone ... I don’t want it back. If ANYONE can help I'm trying to recover the following: USB memory stick (in the console) contains 3 years of uni work and I assignment 3/4 complete and due next Wednesday. Work Keys Work ID CD's All copies nothing special. CD with ALL my work files and family pictures on it.. stuff I can't replace. just chuck it in a bag... there was one in the boot and drop it off at a cop shop or send it too me... or let me know where it is. I'll add more when I get the time. Dave Last edited by Laminge; 12-09-2005 at 09:14 PM. |

Missing AU I do hope your post as not aimed at insuating a forum member has taken your car, we all respect our cars and others, I really hope none of the members here would steal a car or anything for that matter.

Yeah I agree Dellboy, posting that here assuming someone here either stole it, or knows who stole it, is rather insulting. Posting your mobile number in an open public forum is also just asking for followup trouble to your already bad week.

Bad luck with your car :S
My bro had his car stolen....lost $1500 worth of sterio system in it(sold it for drugs). Guy drove to yass, tries stealing petrol and got chased by cops.... hope you get your stuff back, but to be honest I think you'd have more luck winning the lotto.... |

As he say's, "just a bit of help", I for 1 can't blame the guy for being p1ssed, it's a low act anytime, you'd expect that sort of thing at a shopping centre car park, but at the racing......sounds to me like a thief who wanted to escape the rain, so most likley will turn up dumped....probably not too far away. Hope it all has a positive outcome for ya!!!

On a positive note, we parked next to someone in a BA XR8 rapid ute on Sunday, they had left their doors unlocked... got back at the end of the day, car was still there, in one piece and so was all the owners goodies supposedly (said hello).
We told two officials of the licence plate and car details saying they left their car lights on, but didn't hear anything over the loud speaker....

Guys I have got to say where the F does anybody get the idea that Missing AU is saying someone from the forum stole his car : ???????????
If someone stole my car I would be putting a post up for help because I know my fellow ford fans would keep an eye out for it on their day to day adventures. Again just reiterating can we "read" Missing AU's post because I'm sure if it happened to you you would want as many people as possible to look out for it. Chris :evilsasmo |

Can't believe how you can jump the gun like that...

Don't supose it is the first time a thief scanned the forums looking for clues as to the whereabouts of a nice ride. No need to be a member to look.

Sadly I doubt missing AU will have much luck here, the needlesRus or homeboy forums would be the likely target. Ditto for getting back your possessions, people with no morals just don't care, only hope there is to find them dumped on the Street somewhere close. Memory sticks etc, no chance. Sadly that's the reality of it, and if the scrotes ever get nabbed they'll be the one milking the sympathy out of the Courts. As for the Mobile number, don't do it, the world is full of nutters and pranksters that will take advantage, |
