Just some feed back ! I have tried various spark plugs on MA 2.3 litre MA and changed the original factory motorcraft spark plugs changed and taken out at 70,000km and tried NGK . They say are 100k plug but seem worn but it not bad shape. The plugs NGK Retail at $31 per plug unless price special can get for $24 each for genuine article.
At the 14000km mark changed to Champion Iridium spark plug there made in USA and checked at 206,000km mark after 50000 km of driving the plug and seem in very good shape no problems with champion . I put the plugs back in for it has done 206,000 km I find performance match original and the NGK plugs if anything I get better fuel economy and$27 each but repco had for $21.50 for RACV members or use someone card . So most counter staff push for NGK just getting same life and performance from champion Iridium just bit cheaper worth it Last edited by Ford guru; 01-07-2018 at 11:40 PM. |
