You can use ebay to get your money back. Just report an item not sent form, and after a little while you should get your money back. Most of the time ebay will have cancelled her account so its their fault. You dont have any emails from her that she has sent do you? Then you could email her through there. She probably didnt mean to get booted off.

You need to not only report this to EBay but most definitely to the Police too.

You will find her bank account was opened up solely for EBay transactions etc.
It will not be her everyday used bank account... I have been told that some of these con artists will actually go to a different bank to where they normally bank so the tracking is a little harder.

As soon as you all speak to the Police though the sooner people like her are stopped....

Good luck and this really is a good reminder for anyone dealing with ebay that there are horrible people out there and to be careful..

I have found that Ebay will only cover if the Item is worth over a certain amount (Over $100 maybe? Don't remember) Whereas Paypal will cover for up to $400 (Don't quote me there either)
I bought 4x DVD's last year... $80 in total, deposited the funds, and didn't see a red cent of it back. Stupid me did not check the feedback. The day before, they had 20 negative feedback, but this did not affect their feedback percentage all that much, only 98%, which is ok... I have now learnt my lesson, to always check
Yeah I was pi$$ed, tried calling the seller, but no luck. Couldn't stop the deposit, had already gone thru.
I know it doesn't help much, but with some of the bargains I have got off ebay, I would have saved $80 5 time over, but it's the fact that I paid money, and got nothing in return! Should have just bought 2 cartons.....

Cheers

i wish everyone on ebay would do paypal or COD via australia post. i have found COD via Australia post the best option, as a buyer the item gets sent and you know you have it before you pay for it and as a seller you know you will get the money or the item back and the other person cant stooge you

nothing but con if you look at her and dianes9594 feedback and items theres alot of fraud going on and if its illegal id be pushing for jail time

anyways bad news ebay say the purchase price must be over $25 to be eligible for a standard purchase protection claim - what a crock
anyways thanks for that info philstoj i will forward that to the police but i wont mention your name.

Correct me if I am wrong here but you said the purchase price was above what ebay say the minimum amount is for protection etc...
So that means good news yeah??

yeah coverage is $25 and up i payed $20 bit convienient dont ya think

also some terrible news
i went to cop shop and filed report but they couldnt do anything as the crime wasnt commited in QLD, so i either have to file it with VIC police or MIKEVYII if you could do it for me to ill give you half what i get. or REDRUM is a cop in VIC isnt he? if your out there can you help?

i have all the info i needed the cops were even impressed that i came organised... i got a message from ebay saying bla bla bla and i need to wait a min of 10 then file the item not recieved thing and some other crap and i might be able to claim moneys lost.

also commbank might be able to help by suspending the account so they cant access their money but its too late in the day for that

anyways ive wasted sooooo much fuel and energy and time and phone bill and electricity and studying for this beep beep beep and if MIKEVYII cant get this resolved then ill take it on the chin and if i ever see YOU diane smith you'd better have my money with interest or i will do to you what i did to a student at high school (pole to the head, 6 stitches, concusion, 1 day hospital and neck brace) hehe thats was well and truely an accident IM HIS BEST FRIEND << hehe

Yeah that is convenient for them (re: price)..

It is so wrong that ebay can't or won't do tracking through isp or something.. so basically they can jump on again, start a new ID and do it all again to others...

just not right...
Good luck with what ever you both decide to do or can do..

I have seen sellers accounts on eBay being suspended then come back online - this is due to them not paying their eBay seller fees and eBay suspends their account till they pay the account.

I bought a $299 item off eBay once in QLD and the seller answered all my emails fast before I paid but after I paid they didnt. I emailed other people who had bought off them and got their mobile number. I also emailed ebay and got their address and then looked up their home number in the white pages.

They gave me some rubbish that their computer went down - as if - you can check your ebay account from any computer and you can check you bank account from any branch or even on the phone.

Anyway the item was never delivered so I started calling all hours of the night 4.30am in morn and the like until they sent my money back - i was going to take a trip up to QLD to their house - I told them I had friends that could come around also and get the money but they sent the money back before I did that

Anyway it was a big hassle.

If possible get their number and hassle the hell out of them - for $30 I am sure they will give it back to stop the ph. calls.

I've been burned twice by sellers on ebay and the last one was for around the $250 mark. She answered my emails promptly prior to winning the auction but then nothing after. I filed a request with ebay for their phone no. to contact them and finally spoke to her on the 4th attempt. Same story as DRHEMI, computer was down and unable to check emails etc, etc. Never saw a thing. Finally ebay paid up the full amount less the postage costs and their $25 service fee.

Live and learn, always buy from very well trusted sellers with heaps of feedback.
