pod filter if your game and a big cam neither of which cost much
k&n filter is $99 at autobarn and then get some piping and some silicon hose maybe $150 all up tops and then the cam is $122 for a regrind from wade when u give in ur old cam a 1636 for auto or 977b if your manual and it should have it purring like a kitty and roar like a elephant when u hammer it plus the engine bay will sound as tho theres a $2 hooker trying to suck start a lawn mower |

Ha ha ha ha ha ha! Nice and creative. Hows your suspension/handling? You could get bigger sway bars or new bushes to tighten up the front a bit or maybe better shocks/springs. Would make for a better platform for future mods. |

Well a XH is kind of on my list for the next car. My plans were:
White XH2 Ute Super Lows 17' mags that were black with silver lip tints black after market rear lights (kind of like altezza's, but not chrome or clear, black!) Exhaust System Cam And thats about it. Oh and the interior needs some attention STAT! Worst interior I have ever seen in my life, I know its a ute but damn!

If I was looking for an XH Id definitely go Series 2, the interior is a bit better and you get an EF engine as opposed to an EB spec one as Series I got.
If I bought one, would drop it on its bum quick smart, some nice rims (in the interim I'd put on the EF XR8 16's) MOMO wheel (assuming it was a Series 2), colour code the mirrors and side mouldings, and do the usual stuff like exhaust, cam, extractors etc etc. If it's on gas, move the tank up to in the front of the tray so you can lower it without the tank becoming a problem.

i had a nice one, they are good cars but a bit behind ef/el's in the interior department.
dump it super low, put a manual in it if it isnt already and then the normal engine mods.... |

something you might like to considder, whilst not a performance mod, on my ute the front half of the tray floor was hinged, so you had kind of like a "boot" to put the spare wheel, jack etc. it had a boot lid strut to hold it up and a latch made from...something i cant remember, but it worked really well and didnt leak as it had a rubber seal. |
