Default having trouble with avatar?

Hay fellas

Im just having some trouble putting the little picture up that is displayed under my username : , i have made sure that it is the right size and saved it und didnt work so i saved it again and logged out, logged back in and nothing :togo: .

P.S im not the most switched on when it comes to pc's

Can someone please tell me in lamens terms how to do it or where im going wrong.
