OK so this was on 'Beyond Tomorrow' a while ago. Recently I have done quite a bit of research into the concept, it's very interesting.
A description of the models to be produced is available Here It is an extremely interesting concept to me, and it is very well explained on the website, the engine is described HERE Some quick specifications of the vehicles include: Weight: 750 kg Maximum speed: 110 kmh Mileage: 200 - 300 km Recharge time: 4 hours (Mains connector at home) Recharge time: 3 minutes (Air station) The Urban Vehicle: MiniCat  The 'Longer Distance Vehicle': CityCat   As well as using Air as its source for power, the engine may also be switched to 'fuel mode' as they call it. A quote from the website: " But when the car is used outside urban areas at speeds over 50 km/h, the engines will switch to fuel mode. The engine will be able to use gasoline, gas oil, bio diesel, gas, liquidized gas, ecological fuel, alcohol, etc" Apparently in this arrangement, the car can achieve 2000km for one fuel stop. To me this is a great concept for a vehicle. I mean its not exactly a cruiser, but for a daily driver its great. I would definately like to get one. The company states it is after more investment to enable production of their vehivles. How can we inform Aussie companies of this great product. I don't know if Ford or Holden, whoever, if they would be interested? I think it's worth asking though, it's a great concept.  :

Yeah i'm with Laminge on this... want something like this to be successful? make it sexy - think Lotus Elise or Smart Roadster in the small car market.

Yeah OK well the shape isn't exactly the greatest thing ever made. But I'm sure it can be worked on if a company decided to.
I still think it's a great concept.

Funny looking little car, i like the idear, but if they can get it going well i'm sure would take off.
