Hi I have tick ford xr8 200kw 2001 au ...when I go to fuel up I have to trickle the fuel into the tank so it doesn't keep stoping the pump,have check charcoal canister an solenoid an all seem OK

Are you new to Fords? They pretty much all do that if you put it straight in.
Turn the handle on a 45ish degree angle and you'll be right. |

My 2002 au xr8 does it too,only ford ive owned that has done it,it either clicks off constantly or doesn't click at all and ****es fuel everywhere when its full... turning the nozzle does nothing.

Dont stick it in all the way lol, just past the flap, works for me, good luck!

Both my Ford and current Holden does it.
In fact the Holden is worse. Past the flap, not full but bout half speed on fuel pump throttle handle (dunno what to call it) and wait til proper clicks off Sent from my ASUS_Z00AD using Tapatalk

have a look in the filler neck. Is the flap still there?
I've got the same problem in my AU and it's because the flappy thing has fallen down the filler neck. I can pull it up with a magnet but I can't get it out of the hole. |

No worries with my AU and previous BA, the new FG does it though. The old work Ranger did it badly and it turned out to be one of the breather hoses that had been bent over when the tray was fitted, straightened it up and had no worries. Might be a long shot but somehow maybe its happened on the Falcon.
Otherwise I just hold my tongue to the left and squint, seems to work lol.

My XR8 is the same, I twist the nozzle at an angle when filling and it works without a problem then.
