Good evening
We have received a large number of complaints from AFF members about invitations they have been receiving on a persistent basis which have been promoting another Ford enthusiast site. Despite the fact that the introductory video for this site contains images of cars belonging to AFF members this in no way implies any affiliation with AFF as there is none. The operators of this site also run an adult site and a wealth creation site and the information requested as part of the registration process leads me to suspect that it would be used for mass marketing purposes. From what we can gather the contacts are being made via face-book but given the recent (unsuccessful) attempts at hacking the AFF database I would strongly recommend caution in dealing with these individuals. We have taken the precautionary measure of blocking the originating server in our spam lists and would suggest that anyone receiving these persistent invitations report them as spam to their ISP. Regards Russ
