Default BF XR6T factory satnav

Hi guys,

I have a BF XR6 turbo with factory satnav and ever since I got the car it has never really worked properly. Every now and then it would lose it's calibration settings (as in, when I'd turn on the satnav, my 'current position' would be wrong and it would show my current location in some random place). I would then have to recalibrate it and set the correct current location.

A few months ago, it got worse. I was using the satnav and while driving it went all loopy, the map started playing up and it was showing me driving through random fields instead of the current road I was on, then would change to a different location, then back to the road I was on then back again etc...

I changed the map disc coz I thought that was the problem but it still does it. I haven't used it since coz it isn't reliable but want to be able to use it since I have it. Are you guys able to tell me what's wrong with it, and how it can be fixed?
