Default Is it wrong to put Xr5 wheels on a 2012.

My mate has offered me to use his 2010 Xr5 wheels to put on my
2012 focus so I can sell my stockies as new and find a new set of chromies.
Is it a bit wrong to put Xr5 wheels on a 2012? I like them but do not want it to look douchey. What would they be worth with over 85% tread, incase I want to keep them
Thanks

No. Not wrong at all!! I know one of the XR5 blokes who bought a set of Titanium rims and fitted them to his XR5...

That is a newer upgrade not a older upgrade. Should look good. They are a nice wheel. Any idea on value?
Thanks

i've actually seen a few 2012 focus models that have the xr5 wheels on them - and they looked really good!

Have seen two now (either Sport or Titanium) and I have to agree, very cool!

Cool. I really do like the look of them. Any ideas of what I should offer for them. Are Mondeo stud pattern and offset the same as a Focus? Might give me a few better options for chromies if they are.
Thanks

I don't see a problem. Even FG falcons have them.

Could go with RS rims, but don't because I'm the only one allowed to do that...

RS wheels wont fit.. without spacers. Unless you buy the option wheels from the UK.

Don't say that. I am the type of guy who would buy a set just to take a whole heaps of pics to show you, then sell them the next day

Mine are the 18" ones from fordpartsuk.com I got them when the dollar was at like $1.10 US last year so was pretty cheap having them shipped over.

Executer, I'll be getting the 2012 Trend with the stock 16" alloys(in about a month). I'd like to upgrade to the Titanium 18"s or will be looking to buy the XR5 18"s(hence my q re them fitting) r u saying you'd swap the 16's for the titanium 18"s?
