Hi everyone,
I hope this doesn't sound silly, but........... I'd like to start a thread regarding improvements to the range of Australian Ford products which I will then send to them in the hope they will incorporate some of the ideas into their future programs. Could I ask that replies be short, simple and to the point. To start it off, here's a suggestion: Make unique rear passenger doors for the Fairlane / LTD. The current re-use of SWB doors can make it awkward for taller people to get in and out of the deep-set rear seats. The doors should reduce the gap between the lower part of the rear wheel well. Yep, but it wont happen until the 2007 model due to cost factors.
The Fairlane really needs to be "it's own car" if you know what I mean. I certainly hope this happens with the all new model. |

Less weight
Put better brakes on XR models, leaving substandard brakes on the XRs to make the FPVs look good is seriously pathetic, as is charging over 2x the retail price to order the upgraded brakes. |
