Default Holden employee pricing brochure

Just thought I would post this in case someone is interested in trying to screw down the price on a Holden during the current sale. It might give you a bit more to bargain with.

http://www.hrc.org.au/files/New%20Ve...02011_V2_9.pdf

Although i assume the dealer is always going to say the price is off full retail.

The people at Holdens get looked after well. I wish they offered their lease car sceme to the public though. Those buggers get an unbelievable deal there.

I only looked over the brochure briefly, but does anyone know what (Not Packs) and (Packs) means?

20% of a Cruze that makes an SRi V around $26k!!!

Ummmmmmmm

What has 'employee pricing' got to do with 'average Joe off the street' pricing???

Trying to use this as leverage is a joke, honestly.... If I decide to reward a worker of mine with a special price what rite does anyone else have to that price? NONE!

My mate is based in Dubai and works for Emirates. Gets $600 business class to Sydney for himself and his wife when they often return for a visit. Perhaps next time I go to Dubai I should use this to bargain down the seat price for myself and my wife??

Because Holden are advertising that "average joe" can buy at employee pricing

I guess it's because Holden are offering it to "Joe off the street". You can certainly get the Emirates deal ............... IF they offer it to you.

Remember that is of RRP.

I just priced up a SS commodore sedan auto with leather on the holden gizmo at $55,010

So 20% discount is $44008.

What is the average street price of a SS.............

On carsales they start at $43k up to $47k.

They'll have to offer me more like 120 % off any of them before I'll own another Holden

Does that mean they got to pay you 20% of the RRP to take the car off their hands???

I saw an add here 2nite for a local Holden. I'm not sure if they were new cars they were offering but it flashed up $12500 for the cruze with a limit of 1 per customer.
Like i said, it could be used but how is the 2nd hand market going to cope with these out ragous prices???

It's 30% off RRP for Commodores that are not "packs", that approx. $55,000 SS would attract $15,000 discount....

But your reference to existing discountd prices is on the mark, $40,990 drive away rings a bell....

Now you're getting it, SV6 full RRP drive away is around $47K but take off 30% of RRP
and there's that $34,990 drive away price..maybe a little less.

So roughly same price as a new XR6 then, so its technically "correct" legally but full of **** to get people in the door, same price as your competitors.

Meh, just another way to present the deal...like 0% financing on full RRP drive away prices...

1. Low drive away prices
2. Employee pricing discounts on RRP
3. 0% financing on full RRP

Same dog, different leg action...

Prezactly, its really no better than a hard "average joe" negotiator can get at his local desperate dealership.

This will continue to smash resales to pieces

What is a p/iss-off is the higher grade "loaded" SS will be sold in USA for less than here in AUS next year....

35% off full RRP is not *really* that good a deal is it?

I would rather do my own deal outside, and GM to give me a fixed bonus figure based on how many years you have been employed by them.

ie after 10 years service they give you $10k or similar.
