Has anyone installed a Tacho or similar, that can tell me what wire they used for the RPM signal? I am installing my TechEdge 2BO tongiht, and want to hookup the RPM signal for some datalogging.

Got a workshop manual? I would have thought IDM from EDIS would be the tacho source...

if you get a service manual it makes anything you wanna do so much easier..
you can also get it from behind the cluster, look on fordmods and see if they have cluster wiring information.. otherwise i wired mine to diagnostics plug, which at the end of the day is the same shit.. apparently wiring it to ground will also give you signal!! bohh! so many ways.. pick one.. cheers

I've got the Factory AU Service Manuals so should be cool.
Is the diag port an E-series thing? With AU being OBDII, I would probably need an OBDII scanner to go that way. Getting a "clean" signal will be the hard part I suppose.
