ive been wanting to mod my au3 for a while now but wanna do something different cause every1 seems to have the te50 kit....and AWC dont have the sorta 'diferent' look i want.
i was thinking maybe the t3 lights with the BF GT bottom or the xr lights with the BF GT bottom.... is the widths on the two cars the same or will more modifications be needed? and yes i know how to fibreglass/glue and a friend is a plastics person -moulds plastic- any help would be appreciated and if anyone can photoshop my car is venom red thanks in advance |

the BA/BF front bar onto an AU will require a fair bit of work to the bar itself.
the AU has a lot more curve to it around the front of the car compared to the BA. this is further shown by the fact that i got a BA bar on my EF without having to reshape the bars at all. if you can get the shape of the BA/BF front bar to similar of an AU then it should work out fine. but for an idea of the work, look in the AWC area for their WAgon rear bar. its being modified from a sedan rear bar and has taken them ages to get the shape right. Good luck with the project, will certainly stand out

i wouldnt mind seeing the BA bar on the EL never seen one before....... yeah um im not sure whether cutting the BF bar below the headlight things and then attaching that to the au bar or any other way would be easier

hmmm. i think something would have to be done to the grill to make it suit a bit better, maybe a custom wire mesh grill with the ford badge on it, i think you would definatly have to get the headlights that THE DOK has made, the projector ones.
gt bar looks good, typhoon bar also looks good, it would be a hard decision! |

you'd actually be better moulding the driving lights and lower grille into your Forte bar.. As EFFFalcon said the AU bar curves around to the wheels...

do you reckon it would work well though? i had a look at the standard photo and there really isnt much room to play with on the forte front bar.
Its a shame you have to go to these lenghts to make the AU's appearance half reasonable.. J/K |
