Hey everyone!!
well today timmeh showed me the way to an exhaust shop that he recommended highly. I got a 2inch cat back, with resonator and straight through rear muffler with twin upswept stainless tips. sounds EXTREMELY throaty and nice the car no longer chokes and has more consistent power delivery throughout the entire RPM range. extremely happy, but i realised i left my stocko system therE :| DOH have to go back and get it. very happy, althought they could have put the tips on a little more straight :P but thats only a minor thing!!!! |

It was all done at night, so we'll get some better photos and video during daylight hours.
First up, a quick photo: I like the way the shop painted the 'unseen' part of the exhaust black. Video is just uploading now, my comp is giving me issues atm, otherwise it would have been up sooner. Tim Last edited by Timmeh; 02-04-2005 at 12:10 AM. Reason: Stupid urls, who needs them anyway |

Ok, video link is provided below. Right click and choose Save As or Save Target As to download the file onto your computer.

In person, you can hear a slight difference between the two, most likely just from the difference in engine size. I think both systems sound great, neither are tinny or raspy. The team where I get all my work done really know how to make the Euro Fords sound tough! Tim |

no its not mandrel, and its just mild steel. it can be noisy, depending on how things go i MIGHT consider another resonator to make it a bit quieter.. but i duno im too happy at the moment |

How about getting some alloy wheels for it now? Lowering it will make it really look sweet.

I agree, what is Magma red? its not on the ford website.... so is it a new colour? if so.... it looks nice in the picture.... though that might be the flash or something like that. If its new, damn i want it! What interior does the zetec get with that? the Red?

How much did the exhaust set you back anyhow?
And is anything else removed besides the original exhaust pipes and mufflers? I've never done any exhaust mods and don't know the first thing about em. But when I'm in a position to do so would like to improve my exhaust :hihi: I'm guessing I'll need to save up for it but it's probably one of the first things I'll do and maybe drop it 30 mm |

all up 320 including my two stainless tips.
they changed the piping from the cat back which just means they leave the standard cat converter but replace all the pipe from that back to the muffler. two inch pipe, one resonator and one chambered muffler. |

In answer to you question. The Carsales ad said Magma red. But i beleive it must be colorado red.
I get the red and black sporty interior with it too. I love it! I want an exhaust now bad! |
