Hi guys
I have a bad fuel smell coming from the petrol cap area , I’ve changed the cap but still same. I’ve read that it could be the purge Valve or charcoal canister. Is there anything I can check as to if it’s that? And where could I get a purge valve from can’t find any online. Cheers Nik |

Have you recently changed anything to do with the fuel system? Is it making a 'hissing' sound when you take the fuel cap off? Is the car running normally?
Wreckers are your best bet for the purge valve or carbon canister. Check to see if your carbon canister is full of fuel. |

Nothing has been changed and she drives normal.
Cheers mate I’ll check it out. Would all Au’s have the same purge valve or carbon canister ? Or does it have to be from a v8 car? |
