That is graphic! A hefty price to pay for a text or call. If only our wonderful bureaucrats would pursue this epidemic like they do speed issues.

People tend to get pretty blasé about road safety ads but if our Govts could borrow this video and play it a couple of times during prime time viewing I'm sure most would take notice before just ignoring it.As for exposing kids to this type of thing would parents prefer their kids to see the real thing?

However a long term effective strategy needs to be implemented by those policy makers that earn a dollar off the revenue pool. Their efforts tend to be short term and get forgotten quickly. More people are seriously injured or killed on the roads than by terrorists and yet what issue is talked about more in the media?

We used to have great, graphic road safety ads. Have they stopped? Admittedly I watch almost no free to air TV so I could just miss it.
Couple days ago, I looked over at the motorcycle speeding past me on the highway, and the guy was texting as he was riding. Crazy. |

part the problem is they cant show graphic stuff any more (so P.C.) other wise the shock factor would be good in stoping them from doing what they shouldn't

Maybe this woman needs to watch the above ad.....
PS That UK ad above is so good I think I'll show it to my work group as my health and safety presentation. Only the short version tho. I'll send them the link to the the long version to show to their families. If it saves one life, then its worth it.....
