I loaded a 2003 golf game on last night, tried to play it and a message came on saying, direct x finds that you do not have enough video memory to run this game. It,s an NVIDIA geforce fx 5500 card 1 year old, i got the latest drivers for them last night and loaded them on. It still wont work. Any body got a clue what,s up or is this a bad card to have..?????

what is the agp speed of your motherboard and thr agp speed of the card , you maybe limited to certian features due to motherboard limitations if the agp card speed is faster than the agp speed on the motherboard.
I've also had all sorts of dramas with nvidia drivers in the past ( great gfx cards but poor propper working driver support for mixed games). I remember a while back running san andreas with latest drivers ( with a 3 year old gfx card ) , and the game would not run / even though the card had the specs easily to run the game, i installed older drivers working my way back from newest driver to the oldest , ended up the first original driver that came with the gfx card ran the game np ! - and im still using that driver now as it seems to run everything np. Oh , also make sure you have the agp settings setup correctly in the bios settings. And if its runs on the pc with the 64mb agp card and not on the pc with the 32mb agp card, then the game probably requires a minimum of a 64mb agp gfx card. (have a look on the game box cover for the minimum pc requirements for the game ) cheers
