Default VIC - Small Ford Sunday Feb 6th 2005

Simon Knowles has invited the European Ford Club to attend the Small Ford Sunday, run by The Ford RS Owners Club of Victoria.

You can download the flyer for the event here (right click and choose Save As):
Small Ford Sunday Flyer

Or you can visit their club website here: Click Here!

If we can get a few cars interested in attending, we can have a spot reserved for the club. Entry fee is as small as you'll find for a car show ($10 including SFS2005 sticker and free entry into the giant Show and Shine awards), and the event is supported by Ford, Shannons, Rare Spares, Rallysport.com.au, Lions, and Sony.

Would be good to get a few Victorians together and go along, it's next year so gives you plenty of time, just an early heads up on the day. Previously the show has been massive, check out the flyer or site for photos! I'd love to go if it wasn't over 1000kms or so away, so those that are close, take the opportunity!

If you are interested in going, feel free to post an expression of interest, it's coming up soon. I'll probably ask Zetec to start getting numbers soon so we can let these guys know if we need an area for us or not!

If you enjoyed the last cruise with the club, consider coming along to see heaps of other small Fords and have a good day out.

Regards, Tim

We're planning on having a EuroFord Club stand happening, for sure... I believe Zetec is organising that one! We've got to get some preliminary numbers to let the organisers know how many car spaces we need. I'll check out the original thread to see who else expressed interest in going, but Matt will sort it out.

Hi Timeh,

Numbers are not really going to be a major problem as we have plenty of space in the park for everyone (unless we get 3600 cars!!! - highly unlikely). But it would be good if the members can meet somewhere and enter together so that all the cars can be parked together. Our layout is in rows so you guys will be in the Mondeo/Focus/Ka/Fiesta/Lase row - which might be usefull in picking up some new members for you.

If you have any further questions or requests let me know.

Cheers, Glenn (ST170)

Default VIC - Small Ford Sunday (with RS Owners Club Victoria)

Hi Club,

Small Ford Sunday is an awesome gatehring of small Fords, from Ka's to Lasers, Escorts to Foci, Fiestas and Mondeos and the like.

The date is February 6th, 2005 and the details can be found on the following link to their website.
http://www.rsocvic.com/rsocsfs.htm

SFS is traditionally a huge event and a great day out, especially to be able to get close and personal with lots of small fords. None of this "no substitute for cubes" mantra, just lots of fun without the ever dominant Falcon crowd. Come and share the passion with small (predominantly Euro) Ford fans and enjoy a great day out!!!

I'll be putting my car in as number one of the club display, we WILL have an EFOC display going, but I need as many people as are interested!!!!!!!

Please let us know here ASAP as we need to report final numbers by 16 January, which is NEXT MONDAY PPLS!!!!!!!

And for your $10 you also get a nice little entrants pack with goodies inside and auto entry into the Open class Awards.

Alright alright I've been busy, we are trying to sell cars here to keep the mighty Blue Oval turning!!!!!!

Let us meet somewhere neutral, any suggestions? Or shall we just meet there? I reckon we just meet there around 8am and get a line up for the club.
Sound good?

Lucky for me I live down the road

So we are meeting in the actual event or somewhere else and driving down together?

Does the club have any banners and such? maybe a table with some pamphlets giving some club details as well...

Hmmm let me see what I can rustle up... we have no banners, no table (can be arranged) and no brochures (can also be arranged easily). I say we just meet there, it's too close to anyone to deserve meeting elsewhere. But I'll be there that's for sure!!!!! Even if it's ****ing down.

Would this be one the Sierra's you're talking about?

No they don't belong to the forum, but this the one that won the best Sierra.

The silver one was nice, but they didn't stay very long.
