Hey guys,
Im looking at selling my Fairmont, but to be honest, have no idea how much i would get for it. Engine and gear box has done 150,000 but whole car has done about 250,000 Its a 1999 fairmont but has SII Xr6 Tickford Engine, Manual Gearbox, Lowered, Full black Leather interior. Have put SII front brakes and suspension on it. Also has BA GT rims on it. A) would i be better off selling the rims separatly or with the car and, B) would $4000 be too unrealistic to ask for. When selling it, should i put the km at 150,000 or 250,000? Sorry this is the first car that ive sold. Thanks for any advice!

Post up some pics mate. sounds like a nice car.
I'd give them as much info as possible like you have done above. Be honest about the kms personally I'd like to know if the car advertised with 150km actually has 250km on it. It does sound like a fair amount of car for 4k though. Good luck with the sale mate.

you must put the ks the car itself had done not the drivetrain advertising a car with the drivetrain ks can land you in court . for a 99 S1 it would need to be immaculate to get 4K regardless of what you have done to it ( mods mostly devalue a car) if you have the standard fairmont rims put them on abd sell the others you will get a few more $

you always put how many kays the car has actually travelled, what the motor has done isn't the focal point.
Start with $4k, see how you go. Yeah stick some stock alloys on there, part out the GT rims separately.
