So, where to begin...
After having my brilliant EL 'mont for roughly 4 years now, a cabby decided to pull out in front of me, and the EL is no more... a sad day at best. After several weeks of searching, I finally found a very clean BFII monty in Icon Blue with 120k on the clock ($10,980 @ auction ) My questions to all you knowledgable folk; 1 - the EL has a blown head gasket, and no straight panels on the front - what should I be looking at a reasonable price from a wrecker? I was thinking $500-$1,000? Car still drives (not sure for how much longer), and interior is pretty shmick. Has roughly 215k's on her. 2 - the new 'mont has 17"s on it already (standard Ford). I'm very tempted to get some 19"s for her. After a set of BF GT-P's, not really fussed it they are knock off copies. Does anyone know where to get some? Can't find them anywhere on the net except for Wheel King who are asking around $4k - bit out of my budget unfortunately. Otherwise, I have no idea what would look good, so I'm open to suggestions (hint hint nudge nudge). 3 - possibility of hooking up the standard stezza to my iPhone for mp3 playback, or should I say, is it simply easier to get AutoBarn to do it for me rather than stuff around with it myself? Thanks in advance, Happy new BFII Monty driver

Ford do a plug in adaptor for Ipod interface no wiring needed just plug and go talkes 10 minutes to fit
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/FORD-BA-B...item35b5b711fa You can get cheaper ones for about $20 but the have no amplifier and sound quality is much poorer

take what you think it's worth at the wreckers and halve it. that is probably their best offer

If you can get the wreck to the wreckers yourself you might get $150

Personally I'd part it out and sell it in bits, EL fairmont bits are desirable, then sell the shell for scrap metal. You'll get the most money that way.
