Default Standard side skirts foe AU 11

Hi all,
Been busy looking at the gallery at http://www.aufalcon.com/aufalcon.htm.
I've only got an AU II minus the standard Ford side skirts.
SO....What are my opions?
I'd be happy with standard Ford parts (mind you Ford wants $300 plus for each). I'm worried that if I get firberglass, get it painted etc I'll bottom out on a B@#$$$y speed bump and crack the skirt (I have a lot of those things around my home and work).

Any suggestions?

Wreckers.
They're standard on All AU3's and so there should be some available.
ring around and see what you can find.

BA ones won't fit.

Yup, they were standard on all AUIIIs. Also AUII SR's had them.

I might sell mine, when/if i get a bodykit.

Cool

Thanks LG.
It would cost a bit to ship to old Sydney town.

How much to repaint?

Any smash repairer/painter could repaint it for you. I'd say no more than $100-200 to paint it. Try contacting AWC (http://www.awcinfo.com/), speak to Adam.

thanks for the referals guys

Ken, i wouldnt be worried about the fibreglass skirts smashing when bottoming out, ive whacked mine quite a few times and theres been no dramas at all. :monkes:

due to the sharp edge on the bottom of the skirt they actually have quite a fair bit of strength

we dont actually sell the standard issue AU2 side skirts but we have quite a large range otherwise

cheers
