When does it get fogged up? When you first turn the car on in the morning does the demister fog it up or is it already fogged up when you get into it?

Well in that case I have a spare core, I'm pretty sure it's new (it came as a spare with the EF when I bought it) :
Name a price & it's yours |

fogged up when i get in the car. my heater core is broken but even in an ED with a working heater its still no good.
so usually having the window down just a little bit helps alot but doesnt entirely fix it. so do any of the above products work? ie the "fogex" and "no fog"

after cleaning your windows get some potatoes the big brown ones and cut in half and spread on the windows and wipe off with a chamois you may laugh when you read this but it actually works. starch keeps the the windows from fogging up.

yup it definantly works....... used to do that to my XF (had the trademark rusty plenum, so it had a fogged screen most the time:S) the spud trick kept the fog to a bearable level untill the heater took over

use car polish, not sure of the fog fighting factor, but polishing your windows will make them CRYSTAL clear. no joke, and use on mirros too, just polish the glass just like paintwork.
cheers scott

I used fog X on my old ED and my dads explorer, only made the fog problem worse!
I have since sold the ED but we still have the explorer and the windscreen and other windows fog up really badly in that still, it seems the fog X did something to the windows or we just cant wash it off? I have my commodore that parks outside and its windows fog up in the morning when i get in, i was wondering what you guys use to get rid of the fog? Heat or cold? I always chuck it on heat and takes a few mins for it to go away. But when im driving when its raining at night and i have windows closed it seems to fog up and the demister cant to anything to get rid of the fog, a number of times i have blindly pulled the car over because the fog got that bad!
