Default 2007 GT500 Super Snake

Sorry if someone beat me to it.

Now this I believe is a good contender for one of the meanest looking cars out there.

remember to click the gallery link under the post for some real real pictures of it.
http://www.auto-focus.us/autoblog/?p=117

Imagine how much attention that would get driving down a local road.

Holy mackerel! Just why don't the Yanks make these in RHD beat me... at least any future (post 2011) hot Stangs would have a very good chance of landing in Oz.

Yes very nice, I think they are onto a good design a bit of old and a bit of new it will appeal to the guys who maybe had a Mustang or wanted one when they were younger and are now cashed up, also has the total package to back up the looks. You really have to stop and think whether you want to spend $100.000 plus dollars and your time on restoring an older Mustang or just buy one of these.

*Puts flame suit on*

OK as some of you are aware I moved to the USA, and have had the privledge (misfortune) of driving a few of these so called beasts. I took out a near new Roche Ford Mustang GT for a test drive, First impressions were OMG it sounds off its tree, second impression was OMG this is the biggest POS I have ever driven...now this is a car with only 15k (miles) on it, and the front end was looser than a Vegas hooker, the brakes felt like it wouldn't/couldnt stop me, the lack of power was shattering, sure it sounded like a weapon, but I was too dam scared to actually punch or push this thing as it felt so unsafe...I took it back to the showroom post haste and swapped for a Saleen mustang with all the go fast bits, they were asking 45k for it USD again slightly second hand...and guess what...it drove the bloody same...I was so disappointed, guttered actually all my life even having some Holden Red run thru my veins, I wanted to drive a PURE AMERICAN muscle car...I left shattered and hollow, as all my dreams and fantasy's about these cars where shattered in 45 minutes of test driving them. Having said that its pretty much the same with almost all the American made cars, they are poorly made, and very poorly engineered...yet the yanks are wondering why Patriotic Americans are buying imported cars 5 to 1 over the American made ones...BUILD QUALITY or lack there of. Sure these things look like sex on wheels, its just a shame you have to actually drive them. Having said that...the Z06 gave me a chubby for a week!!!

Ill believe it. I too have driven one, albeit a really bad example but you get the general feel for the car. Utter POS. The interior plastics where shocking, it handled like a boat, and it was gutless.

But in saying that, are there any hi-res pics floating about?...LOL

There is no doubt that we are spoilt dollar for dollar, pound for pound with our Hi-Po Aussie performance machines in this country, and MYVYSS I will have to take your word for the lack of refinement in the overall performance package of these Yankee equivalents, but for me, nothing can take away the awe-inspiring, jaw dropping, WoW factor of this car!

Just awesome!

They look awesome! Sure, they're badly built pieces of crap, but when they look like that, I don't care! It's like if you had a chance to go on a date with Jennifer Hawkins, but turned it down because you have different tastes in music for example. I don't care if the Mustang is shocking to drive. I still want one!

Default Can't spell

I have to agree with the minority in that while they look cool I would never ever buy one. I mean a modern sports car without IRS come on, you can't be serious, sure it might look and sound good and be quick in a straight line but everything else about it is complete rubbish
