Default mpfi + Bw40 ????

Did the Ea ever come out with MPFI with the 3 speed auto?

Also, while I've got you, is an Ea 3 speed convertor the same as an Xf????

Any info much appreciated!!!

I'd assume so, I have an '88 NA fairlane 3.9 MPFI and 3 speed auto.

yes it did

i have a 3 sp auto and mpfi sitting in my back yard i also have 90 % that is needed to fit it to a car with a 4 spd auto

Cool, so Ford should be able to supply a kickdown cable for mpfi = 3 speed

my sisters ea fairmont is the mpfi with the 3 spd... and hers is an 87 model....
yes i know thats the last of the xes??? but u cant argue with the vinplate... even vicroads didnt belive me till i popped the bonnet for them

How much how much do you want for it?

I am looking at doing the conversion to mpfi i have the four speed...

My 1988 EA Ghia series 1 came out with MPFI and a 3 speed auto before I changed just about everything, now has EF motor and 4 speed auto.
