Air intake snorkle that attaches to the air filter box.
The reason is im having trouble with a buyer who claims the one i just sold to him is not off a Sprint, Im kinda annoyed about this as my car is on the sprint registry and won trophies. Anyone who can provide pics of the part will be greatly appreciated. here is a few pics i found http://media.photobucket.com/image/e...t/100_1628.jpg http://www.fordforums.com.au/showthread.php?t=11262296 looks like mine but the front has been cut at 45 degrees? mine: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/180966005...84.m1562.l2649 |

Look the same as the regular V8 ones to me?
Was the purchaser thinking it would have been an AU Tickford one?

ok i will endevour to get some pics over the weekend for you. i can't remember there being any differences, but have never done a proper back to back comparisson.
Giant, there isn't a lot to update unfortunantely, due to other commitments the sprint has been sitting idle for a while. the main objective for this build is to subtle mod the things i don't like, but retain the essence of the car, and be able to return to stock anytime, so i purchased an eb monty to donate some interior and trim bits and have set about using these to do the mods. so far i have fitted black carpet, painted all the console and lower dash black, seat and door cards will be retrimmed when finances allow. sub install in boot is progressing, with a full removable boot install the eventuall goal. mechanically i will be fitting a full exhaust, and some dress up bits, maybe fitting the monty motor and stroking to 347, again when finances allow. i really should do a proper update some time.

the only natable difference is the ribs inside the airbox itself, i don't see they'd make any difference, i think its just a change between 1992(monty) and 1994(sprint).

I had a 92 EB Fairmont V8 that had the ribs in the airbox, so i'd say its just a running change. 93 ED Ghia V8 had it too.
