Default ED xr8 std. short block first N/A 11 sec pass

Last night at Benaraby I was running with out the NOS trying to get my first 11 sec pass N/A. My 2nd last pass was a 12.002 so I was keen to cool the car down and get back out before they stoped racing, last pass of the night 11.955 @ 112mph, not bad for std 5.0l , crank, rods and pistons, and still running the 4 speed auto and btr diff.

Thats a good time especially with standard bottom end and auto.
Would have to be one of the fastest EFI 5.0l in aus.

You won't be to far away with those RWHP figures just get some slick's or drag radials Jeff

Thanks mate.
I have a pair of Hoosier DOT drag radials in 225/50/16 on order for September (season opening) that will be mounted to EL FTR's.
Hopefully they improve my 60ft and send me on my way to a better ET.

Jeff

after race meetings I take off most of the stickers (including the race numbers ) bolt on my std ED xr8 wheels and another muffler and go cruising around gladstone, cop's think it's just another white falcon, haven't been pulled over yet :
