Default FG steering wheel into Au ?

Hi all,
been wondering if its possible to put a Fg steering wheel into a au ?
not to concerned about the radio/cruise controls as i have a after market HU and don't use the cruise control

There's a written off au xr8 at work someone has taken the steering wheel so to move it around they chucked a fg steering wheel on not properly just sitting it doesn't look bad and has a lot better feel then the au steering wheel just wasn't sure if it was possible to bolt it up properly and if you could do the airbag or not ?

the airbag would be the problem and would have to be engineer certified as it is a major safety component

you would have to checkout the specs for both cars re steering wheel airbag. plus see if you can legally fit it.
