I have just received the 2006 pricing for the Summernats.

Listed below, are the prices:

Entrant
By 31 July $100.00 $165.00 (Camper)
1 Aug - 30 Nov $155.00 $220.00 (Camper)
1 Dec - 9 Dec $220.00 $285.00 (Camper)

Entrant Buddy Passes
Buddy Pass $90.00 (adult) $35.00 (child)
Buddy Camper $155.00 (adult) $55.00 (child)

Spectator Event Passes
Season Pass $98.00 (adult) $35.00 (child)
Season Camper $165.00 (adult) $55.00 (child)

Season Pass Camper On-Site Parking Fee $200.00
Season Pass Camper Off-Site Parking Fee $50.00

Spectator Day and Weekend Passes

Thursday $20.00(adult) $5.00(child) $30.00(family)
Friday $38.00(adult) $10.00(child) $85.00(family)
Saturday Only $45.00(adult) $12.00(child) $95.00(family)
Sunday Only $38.00(adult) $10.00(child) $85.00(family)

Gold/Silver/Bronze
Gold $210.00 $275.00(Camper)

The cost of insurance and total running of the event would be very costly. So I gather the entrance to the event would have to cover those costs plus make a profit for it to continue. Plus its only once a year.

Still pretty good value in my opinion. Have a look at what it costs to go to the V8 Supercars nowdays.

Have the entry forms been sent yet or have they just released the prices? I'm ready to go again right now
