Hey Guys.
I was wondering if anyone here owns or has owned an Explorer and could give me a rough idea on its fuel consumption. I would also like to know if its possible to run them on gas, or do they not adapt well to that??? The model im looking at is a 97-99 model 6cyl 5spd auto any info would be appreciated. thanks |

Think of a number, and double it. Probably 15-25% worse than a Territory. in Real life, being an underpowered V6. |

Well, I used to own a 97 manual Explorer with the underpowered V6 and it averaged at least 15L/100km. Funnily enough the current V8 Explorer averages the same amount...
Guess which one is more fun to drive! |
