Default Anybody using Optus wireless for home internet?

Mine has been running like a dog these last two days. Anybody else have similar problems with slow speeds?

I have Telstra cable at home, but use Optus Wireless for my work laptop when I'm away from the office. I work in a number of locations and in one particular place the signal strength is quite poor and the connection occasionally drops out or falls back to a woefully low speed. However, it has been fine this week.

Mine as well - normally works at walking pace in Elwood Melbourne, but last few days has been glacial.

I have Telstra, a workmate has Optus and if he uses mine much more (his = dropouts/slow) he will be paying my monthly bill!

I've got Dodo Wireless.

It runs on the Optus Network. I know what people say about wireless and Dodo in general.

I've had it for over 2 years, the first 3 or 4 months were average with drop outs and a morbidly slow rate more often than not.

Yet for the rest it's been fine. Very good indeed. Then last night ( Thursday ) it was complete crap. I gave up after I guess, 25 re-connects..

Remember we're talking about re-worked mobile phone technology running on Australian telco networks.
