Without trying to be negative, Show,n,Shines bore the crap out of me! To see the old thumpers racing around such a great race track compared to sitting about a Kedron I'll take Lakeside any day! For those who do like Show,n,Shines I believe Kedron is a great day out. Skip |

The meet is from 9am - 4pm, but we will be heading back up the coast just after lunch some time. Spending a full morning as we will be there at 9am.
To all the Phillip Island holiday makers, hope the trip home is coming along safely. Skip |

And how GOOD did the Moffat XY sound...don't know how the track will have gone with their noise attenuation when it and the Bob Morris A9X hit the track for some display laps. We put ourselves at the pedal punch zone coming onto the straight and it was fantastic!
How about the new Cobra coming to grief near the old Dunlop Bridge...a fair bit of damage for a show'n'shine cruise around the track. Didn't see how he did it but I have a fair guess that he simply put it out in the marbles and wooshka! |

Glad you had a good day skip.
I went when it was on at QR they are great to watch, gotta love the old big bangers. The Cobra going off, that's why I didn't go on the show'n'shine parade laps, to many cars on the track at one time and plenty of egos trying to be heros. I did see the photos on another site & the usual members having to put their two cents in, poor bastard :

Gee the fishing is great, they bite real hard around here too. :
We are all guilty of acting in a stupid manner at times, some just push it to far. I still feel for the poor bugger, he has just totaled a $80,000 car, and then have to be reminded by photos and comments on forums. Everyone else? missed a couple of cruise laps big deal. : He has to live with his misjudgement for a whole lot longer than missing a couple of laps. I'm surprised the same thing didn't happen at QR 60 odd cars doing high speeds and probably half of them have never been on a track before. The QR briefing was stay under 80kms that lasted about 2 seconds. :togo:

cheers mate no problem Nerang umm yeh well very tight track and very small lap times low 13second per lap so for a 12 minute session we got between 40 and 50 laps but omg way to tight and hits left right and centre as the track is way to small we will not be going back their was a good work out though but still sore from it
