Talking The shed of your dreams

Check this link out. Apparently a guy bought a farm and went and had a look at the shed down the back of the property and this is what it contained. The dream shed I reckon.

I would say that if you sold those cars you could probably buy quite a few phase II's, i wouldn't be suprised if some of them were even worth more than phase II's on their own.

If I was working hard on an old farm, I be building a similar collection of toys too - love the old euros - we had an Alfasud like that a Renault17TL umpteen 50/60s Beetles and Kombis, BM 1800 and 2002, Pug205GTI. Elans and Alfas yum, even looked like a Sunbeam Alpine there. R5 Alpine absent.
I'd rather lots of affordable fun toys than a couple of expensive show ponies too.
If I had no son or daughter to share the bounty with and my relos sucked (not a huge stretch) then I reckon I'd do the same as this old guy. Oh and I'd be one eccentric grumpy ole bugger too!

Sounds the most logical explination. The barn doors were welded dhut too, so the executor would never have known.

Those 1920/30's Formula cars would be worth a few million. They are probably in running condition too.

I just can't believe the condition of the interior of most of the cars! Amazing!

The people who purchased the property can sell all of the cars and get their money back (and them some). The person who was collecting these cars probably got them cheap many years agp. I wonder which of those cars would be the most valuable.

Jeebus!

They are really packed in there huh??

This is the fourth such "backyard" find I have read about now.

It'd be the worst if they were all stolen and the new owner of the property got done for purchasing stolen goods.

i remember reading a while back about a satellite TV installer over in the states who was doing an install on a farm in the backwoods of nowhere.....

walked past the old ladys barn, stuck his nose in and saw what looked like a mustang under a cover, asked her about it, and it turned out that it belonged to her son, who'd bought a 1969 Shelby GT500 brand new before going back for his 2nd tour in vietnam, sadly for her, he never came back

satellite installer guy asked her if she'd be interested in selling it, and despite his protests that it was worth a lot more, she let him have it for the original sticker price.......

All I ever find is spiders.....

I think that the car listed as a 20's american is actaully a Duesenberg. (someone correct me if I'm wrong) That's worth millions on its own.

Unbeleivable, some of those cars are in awesome condition and some are fairly random. There seems to be quite a few plain late model beetles, the just seem out of place with the rest of those cars.

Beautiful cars.

I wonder if there's something like that waiting for me in the world.

No...there's only another big boot waiting to kick me in the pants.

it would be a full time job just keeping the cars clean!! time you removed all the dirt for the last one, the first one would be covered again!! lol
but someof them looked completely stuffed, but others looked like a bit of dust was all there was wrong with it :p that and the flat tires!
