Default Farther, daughter show their baby on TV

Quote:
A South Australian woman has given birth to her father's daughter after the couple had sex.

John and Jenny Deaves reunited 30 years after Mr Deaves separated from Jenny's mother.
Jenny was 31 and just two weeks after meeting, father and daughter had sex.

"John and I are in this relationship as consenting adults," Mrs Deaves told the Nine Network.

"We are just asking for a little bit of respect and understanding."

Their nine month old daughter Celeste, shown on TV, appears fit and healthy.

Mrs Deaves said soon after reuniting with her father she began to see him as a man first and her father second.

"I was looking at him, sort of going, oh, he's not too bad.

"Like you might look at a man across the bar at a nightclub."

Mrs Deaves brought two children, Samantha and Alex, into the relationship after splitting from her former partner.

Mr Deaves admitted that he "initially" thought having sex with his daughter was wrong.

"Emotions take over, as people no doubt realise, there are times during your life where emotions do rule the heart, it rules the head," he said.

"I knew it was illegal, of course I knew it was illegal but you know, so what."

Mrs Deaves said the physical relationship with her father was like "a sexual relationship with any other man".

For Mr Deaves the sexual relationship was "absolutely fantastic".

A South Australian police media spokesman told AAP "the couple is being monitored".

Odd.

can someone pass me a bucket?

they should both be chucked in jail, or charged with something, how can the fact that they came on tv mean they just get "monitored" anyone else and it would have been delt with a lot more harsh.

I know they live in Mt Gambier, but they didn't say where they are from originally. I know where my money is.

Each to their own and all that but FFS, the kids in that house will suffer ridicule of the highest order that will never, ever leave them. 2 of the kids last night said "they don't care what society thinks" - I am sure they will change their mind come schooltime today. What about the inbred child?

The Scottish couple already looked like they were the product of inbreeding. I shudder to think what sort of kids they will bring into the world.

It really is disgusting.

Why... sure, they're bonkers, but who are they going to harm?

Some will say they are indirectly harming the child, it may have genetic anomalies, but isnt that a risk anyway?

its not the fact that they may harm somebody, its illegal for starters, nobody should be exempt from the law, not only that but its immoral and seen as disgusting by pretty much the entire community.

I agree, its a disgusting thought, no doubt about that. But really, wouldn't it be better to employ police resources to monitor something more sinister..?

Surely there's better things to do than monitor a couple of attention seeking inbreds........

agreed mate, they shouldn't need to monitor it, just deal with them, fine them, take the child away, whatever the punishment is, then get onto dealing with more sinister crimes

The Taswegians are coming and invaded our fair state

In all seriousness this is really sick and twisted the cops should arrest them both and save their monitoring for someone that needs it

I wonder how they'd react if their kids now had sex with each other? Would they still think incest is okay?

They are selfish people that's all I can say. How can they think there's nothing wrong with it when almost all of society would say it is?

I feel sorry for those kids.

Why, she or he must have been really desperate. I find it hard to believe that thier feeling "got the better of them" there are some boundaries you do not cross

What gets me is she was looking for her dad after so many years, found him, then felt like there was more than a father/daughter connection with her encounter?

Sounds more like a lonely old man needed some younger punani.

His daughter/grand daughter better watch out.
