Hi my fellow Auvians,
I posted this in the appropriate section a number of days ago, and since have had 35 viewings, but not one comment. So as often is the case, I turn you again for advice my fellow AU bretheren. GK Quote:

Well, redbook says $5,800 - $6,900 - yours would have lower kms than most, so I'd ask $7500 to $7999, and maybe settle for $6900?

Hmmm, sounds like I should start at around the 8K mark then and see where we end up.
Cheers, GK

Hope the sale goes well ... my work mate had a VFR800 .... was such a nice bike as well. He regrets selling it in a way ... he doesn't have a bike now ... but i think he is after a bigger bike now (he's tall/built guy) ... the 800 may have been a little on a smaller side for him.

trouble is its an older bike now, and for around 7-8k there is a huge amount of choices in a road sports bike. plus its too powerful to be lams legal, and possibly (just imo) not quick enough for someone looking for a big sports bike.
pity, looks like a really nice well looked after example |

My brother has one, sounds positively evil with a combination of the gear-driven V4 and sports exhaust.
